*THE SHOW'S MORAL:
“Don’t jump to conclusions and lose the love of your life!”
*Leave ‘em feelin’ better than when they came in. With your *Tongue-In-Cheeky* Humour-&-Fun!
*ELIZABETH thinks DANIEL cheated on her! He is ditched. Kicked to the curb! *
*In a happy, fun-filled, storytelling-way, the musical ventures forth with laughter & joy & heartbreak & sorrow... to an ascending-ending with a happy twist resolving EVERYTHING! And you guessed it! Daniel & Lizzie are back together. And a few others unite too !!!
DIRECTOR NOTE: 'MOMENTS OF LOVE' is an upbeat, high energy performance, designed to enhance the comedy with physical elements & schtick, but this is not to be over-the-top. Just engaging comedic actions by the actors. A fine, fun experience it is to be for all! Audience & characters.
A TASTE OF CHARACTERS:
BLUE-JAY: (beak ‘n all) One beaky-bird! No… cheeky bird! Removable head. Well covering. Comedic character. Physical, that is. Lots of tongue-in-beaky opps for comedy renditon-ing.
DANIEL: (no beak) Ah… ELIZABETH’S devastated ex-boyfriend.
ELIZABETH believes she saw DANIEL in an ooopsie!, marriage proposal-ing
video with HOLLY HOLLY-THE BAR-GIRL! That’s an oopsie!, supreme!
ELIZABETH thinks DANIEL cheated on her! What’ll he do? What’ll he do?
To win her back!
ELIZABETH: Cheated on, she believes, by the philandering DANIEL . On the video with HOLLY-HOLLY-THE-BAR-GIRL yet! Hates him. No more him. Done with him. For good. Walking through a new door. Gone fishin’! So to peak. No speak! And sing too!
Runs LOBBY BAR at hotel they perform at sometimes. Shoots videos and takes pics for customers’ memories & souvenirs. Sends them to their rooms or emails.Pal of DANIEL’S, who plays piano in the LOBBY BAR. Made the transient video with DANIEL. Was a mock-up. Not real characters, DANIEL proposing marriage to…to... to. DANIEL had wanted to use the video as a prelim to actually proposing marriage to ELIZABETH. To show his love for her. To help him win her for keeps! He blew it. ELIZABETH saw the video! By mistake. Too early. An errant email send by HOLLY-HOLLY-THE-BAR-GIRL, when she was sending souvenir, memory videos, to customers.
Vegas-like chorus gals. Sing. Dance. Comedic propensities. With high energy, positive vibes. They exude this positive energy. Vital to the performance. Upbeat vibes.
